We are seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team.  With over 45 years of experience working on K-12 / higher education and commercial projects UDG provides a stable working environment for a future team member looking to learn, grow and produce meaningful projects in a unique smaller community setting. Located atop the beautiful Cumberland Plateau, our area offers an abundance of outdoor possibilities, with mountainous wildlife reserves, lakes, streams,  and multiple Tennessee State Parks nearby.

We are seeking a detail oriented Administrative Assistant to join our established architecture and design firm. The right candidate takes pride in accuracy, catches what others miss, and understands that the quality of their work reflects directly on the firm.

This role supports the Managing Principals and staff across a wide range of day to day tasks. Our office moves quickly, so the ability to juggle competing priorities without losing focus is essential. You will be working in a collaborative internal environment, interfacing primarily with colleagues, clients, contractors, and vendors with occassional walk in traffic.

qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but solid work experience could be accepted

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills

  • Strong follow-through and prioritization skills

  • The ability to funciton in an evolving environment while demonstrating initiative

  • Self-motivation and the ability to maintain a strong work ethic

  • Maintain confidentiality as determinted appropriate for Managing Principals and Clients

  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks or projects

Compensation

  • This is a salaried position - Pay based upon experience and knowledge

  • Work schedule Monday through Friday
