Upland Design Group is a full-service architectural firm located in Crossville, Tennessee. We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.  With over 45 years of experience working on K-12 / higher education and commercial projects UDG provides a stable working environment for a team member looking to build administration skills and contribute to meaningful projects in a smaller community setting. We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our principals and staff with daily office operations and project administration. The right candidate takes pride in accuracy and understands that the quality of their work reflects directly on the firm.

This role supports the Managing Principals and staff across a wide range of day-to-day tasks. Our office requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized as needs shift throughout the day. You will work in a collaborative office environment, primarily interacting with colleagues, clients, contractors, and vendors, with occasional walk in traffic.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and greeting visitors

  • Supporting multiple principals with administrative and scheduling requests

  • Editing and preparing contracts and project documents

  • Assisting with bid and proposal paperwork

  • Maintaining and organizing project files

  • Tracking staff hours and assisting with reporting

  • Ordering office supplies and supporting general office coordination

qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but relevant work experience will be considered

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills

  • Strong follow-through and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Maintain confidentiality as appropriate for principals, staff, and clients

Compensation

  • This is a salaried position - Pay based upon experience and knowledge

  • Work schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
